N ICC CA-11a Caboose, UP #25835 (ATHG-1644)

This is an N-scale Union Pacific CA-11a caboose, UP #25835, a ready-to-run model that faithfully reproduces the CA-11 class with road-name–specific detailing and laser-sharp painting. It features see-through end platforms and steps, wire-form grab irons, body-mounted scale knuckle-spring couplers, full underframe detail with air brake components, and a weighted shell for dependable operation on standard N-scale layouts. Machined RP25 wheels roll smoothly on most brands of track, while a highly detailed interior—including a conductor’s desk, stove, sink, bathroom, and radio stand—adds interior realism. The model ships in a durable jewel-case package and is ready to roll out of the box, with multiple road numbers reflecting UP’s roster.

Road-name variations reflect several UP configurations: As Delivered features include L-angle porch supports, straight steps, unshielded walkway lights, and two window-screen options. The UP Madera Flyer adds a roof-mounted Nathan K3 air horn and a brass bell, along with additional CA-11a prototype features. The Modified version brings boxed porch supports, extra door-side grab irons, lowered and extended steps, shielded walkway lights, side-mounted tack boards, and two window-screen options.
