HO scale Amtrak P42DC Genesis locomotive in Phase V livery, unit 144. This officially licensed Amtrak model faithfully recreates the Genesis for HO layouts, offering four nose variations and a PTC antenna farm configured for #144 to mirror Amtrak’s Phase V roster. The locomotive features LED headlights, ditch lights, and marker lights, plus meticulously applied wire handrails, a photo-etched radiator grille, and a detailed undercarriage with air tanks, filters, and an air dryer. A redesigned die-cast frame provides strong, smooth pulling power, while all-wheel drive and current pickup help keep operation reliable on HO track. McHenry scale knuckle couplers (Kadee-compatible) and RP25 wheel contours contribute to realistic handling.

On the electronics side, the model is offered in DC and DCC-ready forms, with Quick Plug plug-and-play and a 21-pin NEM connector, and a sound-equipped version featuring a Tsunami2 decoder and dual speakers for authentic engine, horn, and bell sounds. Lighting includes LED headlights, ditch lights, and front/rear marker lamps, with DCC-enabled control that can synchronize ditch lights with the horn.
