HO-scale GP40-2 Locomotive with DCC and Sound in DRGW livery, number 3116, is a detailed model designed for realistic freight operations on HO layouts. It combines a Genesis driveline with a five-pole skew-wound motor, precision flywheels, and a multi-link drivetrain for smooth, powerful performance, while an onboard DCC decoder with SoundTraxx Tsunami2 sound and dual speakers delivers authentic engine, horn, and bell effects. The locomotive runs on both DC and DCC and supports full DCC functionality, with reliable all-wheel electrical pickup and RP25 wheel contours for compatibility with popular tracks.
