HO-Scale F89F Bi-Level Auto Rack is a meticulously detailed HO model that recreates the look of a prototypical two-level auto rack. Reproducing the Whitehead and Kales auto rack design, it combines a die-cast underframe with a highly detailed injection-molded body for authentic weight and appearance on HO layouts. Features include wire-formed brake plumbing, separately applied grab irons, and end bridge plates where applicable, delivering a high level of realism on modern model railroads.

Mounted on 70-ton roller bearing trucks with machined RP25 wheels, it rolls smoothly on common HO track. The model uses body-mounted McHenry scale double-shelf knuckle couplers for reliable operation and includes hand brake hardware, trainline hoses, brake hoses, and other hardware to enhance realism. Prototypical ride height, authentic undulating safety railing, and era-appropriate details like early or late train lines and cut levers add to the faithful look, with a minimum radius of 22 inches and best performance on radii of 24 inches or larger.
