HO-scale CNW SD50 Locomotive, CNW 7022, from the Athearn Genesis line. This model reproduces EMD's 3,500-horsepower SD50 from the early 1980s in Chicago & Northwestern livery, offering a faithful, scale-accurate representation of the prototype for HO layouts and displays.

Genesis detailing delivers a full cab interior, see-through windows, LED headlights with operating class lights, ditch lights, number boards, and ground lights. The model rides on a heavy die-cast frame with a 5-pole motor, flywheels, and all-wheel drive, with fine-scale handrails, RP25 wheels, and body-mounted McHenry knuckle couplers for smooth operation. It is DCC-ready with Quick Plug plug-and-play technology using a 21-pin NEM connector, and sound-equipped versions add Tsunami2 on-board sound with dual speakers.
