HO-scale EMD SD50 Locomotive with DCC and Sound in Missouri Pacific livery, number 5049. This model reproduces the 3,500-horsepower SD50 introduced in 1981 as a transitional locomotive, pairing era-accurate styling with modern electronics for a ready-to-run addition to an HO layout.

Inside, an onboard DCC decoder with SoundTraxx Tsunami2 sound powers authentic audio through dual speakers and supports full DCC functionality while operating on DC as well. The locomotive features a Genesis driveline with a five-pole motor and flywheels, a heavy die-cast frame for traction, RP25 wheel contours, fine-scale Celcon handrails, and see-through cab windows with body-mounted McHenry knuckle couplers.
