HO-scale ICC Wide-Vision Caboose with Lights & Sound for the Rio Grande (DRGW) recreates the second-series wide-vision caboose introduced in 1976. Fully assembled and ready to run, this model captures the extended-cupola design with authentic lettering, interior seating for crew figures, and see-through end platforms with flush glazing for a convincing caboose rear of a freight train.

LED lighting with an on-board DCC lighting decoder provides reliable illumination with brightness control and works on both DCC and analog layouts, with full DCC function support and NMRA compatibility. The car rides on machined metal wheels with RP25 contours, is weighted for smooth operation, and features body-mounted McHenry-scale knuckle couplers, etched coupler platforms, and detailed underframe components. It also includes a lit back-up light in DCC mode and Rio Grande-specific refinements; the minimum operating radius is 18 inches, making it a practical addition to HO-scale freight consists.
