HO Genesis GP15-1 Locomotive with DCC & Sound, LTEX #1427 is a detailed HO-scale replica of EMD’s four-axle GP15-1 switcher, designed for yard work and light road service. Ready-to-run and faithful to prototype details, it features a full cab interior, see-through cab windows, and a heavy die-cast frame that provides realistic heft and pulling power on your layout.

Powered by an onboard DCC decoder with SoundTraxx Tsunami2 sound, this locomotive delivers authentic engine, horn, and bell sounds and operates on both DC and DCC layouts. It includes dual cube speakers for clear audio and a suite of prototypical features, from LED lighting to body-mounted scale knuckles and fine Celcon handrails. Quick-Plug technology with a 21-pin NEM connector makes decoder upgrades easy, and LTEX #1427 is faithfully painted. The model rides on RP25-wheeled trucks with all-wheel electrical pickup for smooth operation, and it’s designed for HO layouts with a minimum 18" radius (22" recommended).
