This fully assembled, ready-to-run model captures the SDP45’s distinctive look and features a SoundTraxx Tsunami2 sound decoder with dual speakers for authentic engine, horn, and bell performances. It operates on both DC and DCC layouts, with full-function control and NMRA-compatible CVs for easy customization.

Built around a heavy die-cast frame with Genesis drive and a 5-pole motor, the model delivers smooth, quiet operation and solid pulling power. It includes LED lighting, fine-scale handrails, body-mounted knuckle couplers, and a detailed fuel system, plus 21-pin NMRA Quick Plug for straightforward DCC installation. Painted and scaled from prototype references for accuracy, it ships ready to run and offers a great canvas for weathering to recreate in-service appearances.
