This detailed model from Athearn's Genesis line faithfully reproduces the AC4400CW prototype with UP’s 5555 road number, and features an onboard DCC decoder with Tsunami2 sound and dual speakers for authentic operation on HO layouts that run on either DC or DCC.

Built on a heavy die-cast chassis with a Genesis driveline, the locomotive delivers solid pulling power and smooth, quiet performance. A 21-pin NMRA Quick Plug enables easy DCC installation, while LED lighting highlights the illuminated number boards and front/rear walkway lights. UP-specific details include hi-mounted number boards, a large GPS dome, and a walkway capacitor box, complemented by a see-through cab, scale handrails, RP25 wheels, and McHenry scale knuckle couplers (Kadee-compatible).
