Introducing the HO-scale CSXT SD70ACe diesel locomotive, a ready-to-run model that faithfully reproduces a modern CSXT freight engine for HO layouts. Representing CSXT #4844, this SD70ACe captures the distinctive styling of today’s heavy-haul locomotives—from the broad radiator surrounds and rectangular windshields to the full-height nose door—giving a believable centerpiece for operations or display on prototypical CSXT rosters.

Built for dependable performance and authentic detail, this model blends a heavy die-cast frame with scale-accurate features such as magnetically removable roof panels for maintenance access, DCC-ready Quick Plug technology with a 21-pin NEM connector, fine-scale Celcon handrails, a detailed fuel tank, and body-mounted McHenry knuckle couplers. It delivers smooth operation with eight-wheel drive, all-wheel electrical pickup, RP25-contoured wheels, and LED lighting, plus a full cab interior, see-through cab windows, walkways, wire grab irons, MU hoses, trainline hoses, and coupler cut levers. The standard version is ready to run and, in sound-equipped form, includes an onboard DCC decoder with SoundsTraxx Tsunami2, dual speakers, and full DCC functionality, with engine, horn, and bell sounds usable in DC as well as DCC; CV adjustments let you tailor performance, and a CV chart is included for tuning on your layout.
