HO-scale SD70ACe diesel locomotive with DCC and sound in Santa Fe markings, number 400, brings modern freight power to an HO layout. This ready-to-run model faithfully reproduces the SD70ACe prototype, featuring a heavy die-cast frame for traction, a detailed cab interior visible through see-through cab windows, illuminated number boards, and truck lights for nighttime realism. It ships DCC-ready with Quick Plug plug-and-play technology and a 21-pin NEM connector, and includes an onboard DCC decoder with SoundTraxx Tsunami2 sound and two speakers to deliver authentic engine, horn, and bell sounds. Realistic detailing continues with etched steps, walkways, MU hoses, trainline hoses, and coupler cut levers, while eight-wheel drive and RP25 wheel contours ensure smooth operation on common HO track.
