HO Scale GATC 2600 Airslide Covered Hopper Model in GACX/Nebraska Consolidated Mills #42398 livery is a faithful reproduction of General American Transportation's 2,600-cubic-foot Airslide hopper, a mid‑century bulk-carrier whose design allowed loads to be loaded through roof hatches and fluidized for easy discharge through the hopper bays.

Three body styles are represented with a detailed underbody and outlet piping, rectangular or oval shaker brackets, gravity or gravity-pneumatic outlets, and a see-through metal roof walk. The model features factory-installed wire grab irons and brake piping, separately applied round roof hatches and brake wheel, machined metal wheels with RP25 contours on roller bearing or Bettendorf trucks, and is weighted for smooth operation with body-mounted McHenry operating knuckle couplers. It is accurately painted and printed and designed to negotiate curves on a minimum 18-inch radius.
