HO scale General American Transportation Company 2600 Airslide Covered Hopper in GACX/Redpath livery is a detailed replica built for HO-scale layouts. The original Airslide hopper uses air-permeable bottoms to fluidize the load and enable smooth unloading through the outlets, a characteristic faithfully reproduced to help recreate realistic mid-century bulk‑cargo scenes.

The model presents three body styles and a richly detailed underbody with outlet piping, plus features such as a see-through metal roof walk, factory-installed wire grab irons and brake piping, and separately applied roof hatches and brake wheel. It rides on machined metal RP25 wheels and can be fitted with roller bearing or Bettendorf trucks, is weighted for stable operation, and uses body-mounted McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers with an injection-molded, accurately painted body. Designed for HO track, it can negotiate a minimum 18-inch radius on typical layouts.
