An HO-scale Genesis F89-F flat car in XTTX configuration, finished in brown, this model recreates the 1960s Trailer Train/TTX flatcar used for trailer-on-flatcar service. It captures the car’s versatility through prototype details and multiple loading configurations, from four-hitch XTTX setups to other trailer configurations. The model is decorated, fully assembled, and ready to run, built around a heavy die-cast underframe and 70-ton roller bearing trucks with machined metal wheels for dependable operation across HO layouts.

XTTX variants include four hitches to accommodate different trailer lengths, with extra raised and collapsed hitches to model a range of configurations. Features such as wire-formed brake plumbing, a detailed injection-molded body, machined metal wheels, and body-mounted McHenry scale knuckle couplers contribute to authentic operation. Weighted for smooth tracking, the model is designed for intermodal or mixed freight service on HO layouts, with RP25 wheel contours for compatibility with Code 55–100 rails and a minimum radius of 22 inches (24 inches or larger recommended).
