Athearn Genesis F89-F Flat Car in brown, configured as an XTTX model, is a faithful HO-scale replica of the Trailer Train’s classic F89-F flatcar from the 1960s. Built with a die-cast body, it features raised and lowered hitches, a detailed deck, and separately applied wire grab irons and ladders. Machined metal wheels with RP25 contours roll smoothly on Code 55 to 80 track, and the model is weighted for dependable operation. Decorated and ready to run out of the box, it captures the look and feel of mid-century intermodal service on a modern layout.

The XTTX variant includes four hitches to accommodate different trailer lengths, plus extra raised and collapsed hitches to model multiple configurations.
