An accurate scale model of a classic mid-1960s intermodal flatcar, the Athearn Genesis F89-F Flat Car with WTTX Twin 45 trailers is designed for realistic TOFC operations on model rail layouts. This detailed replica features a die-cast body with distinctive C-channel side sills and a carefully modeled deck, offering the iconic look of the Trailer Train era and the Twin 45 trailer configuration right out of the box.

Its build emphasizes running performance as well as appearance: raised and lowered hitches, separately applied wire grab irons and ladders, machined metal wheels with RP25 contours for smooth operation on Code 55–80 track, and a weighted chassis for stable tracking.
