HO-scale GP7L diesel locomotive with DCC and sound—a faithful reproduction of the 1949-era GP7 switcher designed for realistic operation on HO layouts. This model features a detailed short hood and full-height cab, see-through cab windows with a full interior, LED lighting, and a heavy die-cast frame for authentic heft and traction. It includes an onboard DCC decoder with SoundTraxx Tsunami2 sound, dual cube speakers, and operation in both DC and DCC, with full DCC functions available while engine, horn, and bell sounds respond in DC. Quick Plug 21-pin NMRA interface makes DCC setup straightforward, and CVs (with an included CV chart) let you tune speed, sound, and lighting. The Genesis driveline with a 5-pole skew-wound motor, precise flywheels, and a multi-link drivetrain delivers smooth, quiet operation and strong pulling power, while RP25 wheels provide reliable tracking on common track. Body-mounted McHenry scale knuckle couplers (Kadee-compatible) and accurately painted schemes—including NCSL 702—round out the prototype-faithful detailing.

Road-name specific liveries span a range of railroads and eras, with variants that reflect authentic detailing such as Gyralights, fuel tanks, cut skirts, spark arrestors, winterization hatches, and other touches that vary by scheme.
