Apalachicola Northern HO GP15T Locomotive No. 722 is a detailed, ready-to-run HO-scale model of the turbocharged GP15T switcher that served the Apalachicola Northern Railway in the 1980s. The model faithfully reproduces the prototype’s distinctive features, including a nose-mounted Grya light (operational in DCC), operating class lights, a 5-chime horn, and a roof-mounted air conditioner, all wrapped in the unique hood configuration that set these units apart.

Built on a sturdy die-cast frame with fine-scale Celcon handrails and see-through cab windows with a full interior, the locomotive carries authentic detailing such as walkways, windshields, lift rings, and wire grab irons. It’s available in DCC-ready form with Quick Plug technology and a 21-pin NEM connector for easy decoder upgrades, and sound-equipped variants feature a Tsunami2 decoder with dual speakers for engine, horn, and bell sounds that work in both DC and DCC.
