This fully assembled, ready-to-run model is designed for yard work and light road service on a variety of layouts, delivering authentic styling with features like a nose-mounted gyralight, M-3 horn, Sinclair radio antenna, and Blomberg-M trucks in a faithful Rio Grande finish.

Power is provided by a Genesis driveline with a 5-pole motor and all-wheel drive for smooth, reliable operation. The sound-equipped version includes a DCC decoder with SoundTraxx Tsunami2 and dual speakers for realistic engine, horn, and bell sounds, while remaining NMRA-compatible for CV tuning and MU lashups. Realistic touches include see-through cab windows with a full interior, walkways, wipers, fine-scale Celcon handrails, and a detailed fuel tank with gauges, plus body-mounted scale McHenry knuckle couplers and RP25 wheels. It supports 18" minimum curves (22" recommended) and uses a Quick Plug 21-pin NEM interface for easy DCC setup.
