HO GP15T Locomotive with DCC and Sound, Apalachicola Northern No. 722 is an HO-scale replica of the turbocharged GP15T switcher used by the Apalachicola Northern in the 1980s. This ready-to-run model combines a DCC decoder with SoundTraxx Tsunami2 sound for realistic engine, horn, and bell audio, and it features prototype details like a nose-mounted Grya light (operational in DCC), operating class lights, a five-chime horn, and a roof-mounted A/C unit to reflect the railroad’s distinctive appearance.

Designed for yard work and light road duties on HO layouts, the locomotive sits on a heavy die-cast frame for traction and smooth operation, with an all-wheel-drive drivetrain and detailed features such as a full cab interior visible through see-through windows, fine-scale Celcon handrails, and wire grab irons. It is DCC-ready with Quick Plug plug-and-play technology using a 21-pin NEM connector and supports both DC and DCC operation, including MU lash-ups and CV-based customization (CV chart included). Fully assembled and ready-to-run, it accommodates an 18" minimum radius (22" recommended) for reliable performance on most layouts.
