An HO-scale model of the American Car and Foundry 3-bay Center Flow hopper, this car reproduces the mid-1960s design used for grain and bulk loads with a 4,600 cubic-foot capacity. The Center Flow rounded body is built for gravity unloading and eliminates the traditional center sill, a feature that helped fleets operate within Plate B clearances on light branchline routes. In Soo Line livery, the model offers an authentic look for period grain trains and is ready to run on standard HO layouts.

Fully assembled and ready to run, this model captures a wealth of detail: three body styles representing early, mid, and late configurations; round or trough hatches; photo-etched roofwalk; and separately applied wire grab irons and stirrup steps. Brake-system detail includes a separate cylinder, valve, and air reservoir with wire brake plumbing, plus multiple road numbers and accurate paint and printing. The car rides on screw-mounted Genesis 100-ton trucks with 36-inch machined metal wheels and animated spinning roller bearing caps, paired with body-mounted McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers and a tuned weight for smooth handling. Three body styles—early with high side ladders and brake wheel, mid with lower brake wheel, and late with double side stiffeners—provide authentic variation for a well-rounded grain-train roster.
