An HO-scale 3-bay Center Flow covered hopper that recreates the American Car and Foundry 4600 cubic-foot design used for grain and other bulk shipments. Introduced in the mid-1960s, this center-flow body eliminates the traditional center sill, strengthening the car and easing gravity unloading while fitting Plate B clearances for light branchline service. The model represents the common 4600 cu ft capacity and is offered in three body styles—early, mid, and late—to reflect real-world variations, with round or trough hatches and detailed outlets for added realism.

Fully assembled and ready to run, the model arrives with accurate paint and printing and a highly detailed injection-molded body. Finely rendered details include a photo-etched roofwalk, separately applied wire grab irons and stirrup steps, round or trough hatches, and multiple outlet versions, plus multiple road numbers. The car rides on screw-mounted trucks with body-mounted McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers and is weighted for stable operation. Genesis 100-ton trucks carry 36-inch machined metal wheels and animated spinning roller bearing caps for authentic on-track realism on HO layouts.
