An HO-scale FP45 Santa Fe locomotive in ATSF #96 livery, this model is fully assembled and ready to run. It recreates the FP45’s distinctive full-width cowl body and features a detailed cab interior visible through see-through windows, plus a host of scale details such as wire grab irons, walkways, a flush-mounted port glass, a detailed fuel tank, and Celcon handrails. The chassis rides on a heavy die-cast frame with RP25-wheel contours for reliable tracking, while a Genesis driveline with a 5-pole skew-wound motor, precision flywheels, and a multi-link drivetrain delivers smooth, quiet operation and solid pulling power.

On the Santa Fe side, the model includes a nose-mounted headlight, a 3-chime horn, roof air conditioning, ATSF-style antenna, a passenger-service plow, and blanked-out cab gyralights. Road-number specifics vary—for example, #96 is shown with a body-mounted silver horn, with other numbers offering different horn configurations.
