HO F45 Locomotive with DCC and Sound for Great Northern 435 is a detailed, ready-to-run HO-scale model that faithfully recreates EMD’s F45 cowl locomotive. It includes an onboard DCC decoder and SoundTraxx Tsunami2 sound, delivering authentic engine, horn, and bell effects and enabling full-function operation on both DC and DCC layouts for immediate, engaging prototyping on the layout.

GN-specific detailing includes a Xenon beacon with DCC effect, a high-mounted headlight, winterization hatch, a 3-chime horn, a firecracker antenna, and a small EMD plow, plus a full cab interior and see-through cab windows. The model rides on a heavy die-cast frame with RP25-contoured wheels and all-wheel electrical pickup for smooth, reliable operation, while NMRA-compatible DCC functions and CV adjustments (CV chart included) give realistic control. A minimum radius of 18 inches is required, with 22 inches or larger recommended for best performance on curves.
