Milwaukee Road FP45 Locomotive with DCC & Sound in MILW #4 livery is an HO-scale, ready-to-run model designed to bring the FP45’s distinctive presence to HO layouts. This sound-equipped version houses an onboard DCC decoder with SoundTraxx Tsunami2 sound, delivering authentic engine noises and horn and bell effects, with full DCC control while remaining operable on DC power.

Built for HO-scale operation, the model features a heavy die-cast frame for traction, a Genesis driveline with a 5-pole skew-wound motor, precision flywheels, and a multi-link drivetrain for smooth, quiet motion and reliable current pickup across all wheels. Detailing includes a full cab interior with see-through windows, wire grab irons, and scale handrails, plus MILW-specific touches such as a nose-mounted headlight, Leslie 3-chime horn, electronic bell, winterization hatch, and a beacon for MILW #4 with corresponding cab signal light configuration. It runs on HO track with a minimum radius of 18 inches (22 inches recommended) and uses RP25-contoured wheels for broad track compatibility; the 21-pin NEM connector supports easy DCC setup and CV-based customization, including MU lashups.
