HO F3B Locomotive C&NW 4061-B (ATHG19570)

HO-scale CNW F3B Locomotive is a detailed model of Chicago and North Western's early diesel freight power, designed to bring authentic 1940s freight operation to HO layouts. This B-unit captures the distinctive bulldog nose, see-through cab with a full interior, and prototypical lighting for a faithful representation of CNW’s F3B service on the railroad.

Built on a heavy die-cast frame with a Genesis-style drivetrain, the locomotive delivers solid pulling power and smooth, quiet operation. It features body-mounted scale knuckle couplers, RP25 wheel profiles for reliable tracking, and LED lighting for realistic appearance. DC and DCC operation are supported; DCC-ready versions use Quick Plug plug-and-play technology with a 21-pin NMRA connector, and sound-equipped editions include a SoundTraxx Tsunami2 decoder with dual speakers for authentic engine, horn, and bell sounds. Exterior detailing includes etched metal grilles, see-through cab interior, a detailed fuel tank with gauges, and as-built skirts and grab irons. Minimum radius is 18 inches, with a 22-inch radius recommended for best performance on most layouts.
