HO F7A Locomotive ATSF #265C (ATHG19573)

HO Scale Santa Fe F7A Locomotive, ATSF 265C, is a detailed reproduction of the Phase I F7A freight locomotive for HO layouts and railfan displays. This Santa Fe power is shown in the blue-and-yellow freight scheme and is designed to bring authentic freight-hauling presence to a model railroad.

Road-number 265C features modernized grab irons on the nose and top, cut skirts, and F3-style chicken-wire grills delivered without stainless steel; spark arrestors are included to reflect later appearance and can be installed by the consumer, along with a can-style antenna and an inertial air filter. The F-unit detail includes a see-through cab with interior, LED lighting, etched metal fan grilles, and a heavy die-cast frame for traction. It is DCC-ready with Quick Plug plug-and-play technology and a 21-pin NEM connector, and uses RP25 wheel contours for reliable tracking. Some sound-equipped variants include onboard DCC with SoundTraxx Tsunami2, dual cube speakers, and NMRA-compatible functionality; a CV chart is included. The minimum operating radius is 18 inches, with 22 inches recommended for smooth running.
