HO-scale Monon F-3A Locomotive Set recreates late-1940s Monon passenger power with two A/B units, numbered 84-A and 84-B, in an Indiana University-inspired red-and-gray scheme. These locomotives are designed to pull modernized passenger trains on HO layouts, and they feature era-appropriate details such as dual headlights, a rear back-up light, high radiator fans, steam generator fixtures, and chicken-wire grilles. See-through cab windows reveal a full interior, and body-mounted McHenry scale knuckle couplers are Kadee-compatible for reliable coupling with matching rolling stock.

Performance and detailing emphasize prototypical operation: a Genesis driveline with a five-pole motor, a heavy die-cast frame for traction, and all-wheel electrical pickup with RP25-wheel contours for smooth running. LED lighting adds realism, and the model is DCC-ready with Quick Plug and a 21-pin NEM connector for easy decoder installs.
