HO FP7 Locomotive, road number 4362 in CR markings, is an HO-scale model of EMD’s 1,500-horsepower FP7 diesel-electric passenger-hauler. The prototype carried an auxiliary water tank and steam generator to heat trailing passenger cars, a feature reflected in this model by its longer body and frame. Road 4362 retains the steam generator and M-3 horn with the PC worm logo on the nose for authentic prototype appearance, capturing mid‑century railroading on a home layout.

Built for reliable operation on HO layouts, the model features a Genesis 5-pole motor, heavy die-cast frame, and precise gearing for smooth power and strong traction. LED lighting, see-through cab interior, etched fan grilles, and other fine details add realism, while RP25 wheels and body-mounted knuckle couplers keep compatibility with common HO equipment. It’s DCC-ready with Quick Plug 21-pin NEM, and sound-equipped versions include a Tsunami2 decoder with dual speakers (some DC features may be limited).
