HO FP7A Locomotive CPR #4075 (ATHG19602)

HO FP7A Locomotive CPR #4075 (ATHG19602)

An HO-scale FP7A Locomotive in CPR livery reproduces CPR 4075, a 1,500-horsepower FP7A diesel-electric built by EMD for passenger service in the mid-20th century. The FP7A carried an auxiliary water tank and steam generator to power steam heat for trailing passenger cars, with final assembly historically split between La Grange, Illinois and London, Ontario. This detailed model is designed for hobbyists seeking an authentic CPR power unit to run on HO layouts.

CPR-specific detailing includes a freight-style pilot, water tank, winterization hatch, steam generator exhausts, and the extra trim piece for the yellow stripe behind the cab doors. The model features see-through cab windows with a full interior, directional LED lighting, and, in sound-equipped versions, onboard Tsunami2 sound with dual speakers. It is DCC-ready with Quick Plug plug-and-play technology and a 21-pin NEM connector, rides on a heavy die-cast frame with RP25 wheels and body-mounted, scale knuckle couplers (Kadee-compatible). Minimum radius is 18 inches, with 22 inches recommended for smooth operation.
