HO F7B Locomotive MILW #73B (ATHG19604)

An HO-scale Milwaukee Road F7B locomotive, number 73B, designed for authentic diesel-era model railroading. This F7B B-unit recreates the classic F-series silhouette and is ideal for pulling passenger or freight trains on HO layouts, bringing Milwaukee Road’s iconic diesel fleet to life with era-accurate detailing and lighting.

Built for performance and realism, the model rides on a heavy die-cast frame for solid traction and features Blomberg-B trucks with prototype-specific wheel bearings, LED lighting, see-through cab windows, and a richly detailed underframe with etched metal and molded detail parts. It is DCC-ready with Quick Plug technology and a 21-pin NEM connector for easy decoder upgrades, and uses body-mounted McHenry scale knuckle couplers (Kadee-compatible) for reliable coupling. Sound-equipped variants add an onboard DCC decoder with Tsunami2 sound and dual speakers, delivering authentic engine, horn, and bell sounds when operated on DCC. The model is designed to run smoothly on HO layouts with a minimum radius of 18 inches and a recommended radius of 22 inches.
