HO FP7 Locomotive C&EI #1604 (ATHG19609)

HO-scale FP7 Locomotive in Central of New England (C&EI) livery, numbered 1604, faithfully reproduces GM-EMD’s 1,500-horsepower diesel-electric passenger-hauler. Built to pull passenger trains, this FP7 model reflects the longer body and frame required to carry steam-heat equipment for trailing cars, giving an authentic presence on HO layouts.

Richly detailed for realistic operation, the model features see-through cab windows with a full interior, etched metal parts, and a suite of prototype details such as coupler cut levers, MU hoses, windshield wipers, lift rings, wire grab irons, sanding lines, and a detailed fuel tank. It rides on Blomberg-B trucks with prototype-specific wheel bearings, uses RP25 wheel contours for smooth running, and employs a heavy die-cast frame for traction. LED lighting, body-mounted McHenry scale knuckle couplers (Kadee-compatible), and DCC-ready Quick Plug technology with a 21-pin NEM connector enable easy digital setup; sound-equipped versions add onboard DCC with SoundTraxx Tsunami2, dual speakers, and authentic engine, horn, and bell sounds, with CVs and a chart to tailor performance to taste.
