Powered by a Genesis driveline with a five-pole skew-wound motor, it delivers smooth, quiet pulling performance, while LED lighting provides realistic forward and rear illumination. The sound-equipped version includes an onboard DCC decoder with SoundTraxx Tsunami2 and dual cube speakers, delivering engine, horn, and bell sounds in DCC; DC operation is supported with basic sound, though some functions are limited in DC and all functions are NMRA-compatible in DCC.
