Built on a heavy die-cast frame for traction and equipped with RP25 wheels for smooth running on standard HO track, the model features a see-through cab with detailed interior, etched metal parts, wire grab irons, and body-mounted McHenry scale knuckle couplers (Kadee compatible). The sound-equipped version uses a DCC decoder with SoundTraxx Tsunami2, dual speakers, and authentic engine, horn, and bell sounds that operate in both DC and DCC, with prototypical lighting and beacons. Prototypical features such as slot-style dynamic brakes, accurate paint schemes, and the ability to form MU lashups add to the realism.
