HO F7A Locomotive with DCC and Sound, C&WC #905 (ATHG19688)

HO-scale F7A locomotive with DCC and sound in C&WC livery, number 905, designed to reproduce the Phase I F7A on HO layouts. This detailed model captures period-accurate features such as no dynamic brakes, dual single-note air horns on the A-units, a freight pilot, and as-built grab irons and skirts, all finished in an authentic paint scheme with working back-up lights.

Inside it uses a Genesis driveline with a 5-pole motor and a heavy die-cast frame for smooth, quiet operation and strong pulling power. The model rides on RP25-wheels with see-through cab windows and a full interior, plus etched metal details and body-mounted scale knuckle couplers that are Kadee-compatible. The sound-equipped version includes an onboard DCC decoder with SoundTraxx Tsunami2, dual speakers, and engine, horn, and bell sounds that work in DCC (with some features limited in DC). It is DCC-ready via Quick Plug 21-pin NEM, supports MU lashups, and offers prototypical lighting effects with CV adjustments; a CV chart is included. Minimum radius is 18 inches, with 22 inches recommended for best operation.
