HO FP7A/F7B Locomotive with DCC & Sound for Amtrak Nos. 120 and 162 is a faithful HO-scale recreation of GM-EMD’s classic FP7 passenger-hauler. This two‑unit Amtrak-liveried set includes a DCC decoder with SoundTraxx Tsunami2 sound and dual speakers, with sound boards in both A and B units for realistic engine, horn and bell effects that operate on both DC and DCC layouts. It features see-through cab windows and a full cab interior, along with prototypical detailing and road-number touches that bring the era to life on the railroad.

On the layout, the FP7A/F7B rides on a heavy die-cast frame for traction and pulling power, with Blomberg-B trucks, scale knuckle couplers, and LED lighting for a lifelike appearance. It is designed for prototypical radii (minimum 18 inches, with 22 inches recommended) and includes 21-pin NEM compatibility for easy DCC installation.
