HO-scale FP7 Locomotive with DCC and Sound in CEI livery. This model recreates the classic EMD FP7 diesel-electric locomotive used for passenger service in the late 1940s and early 1950s, featuring an onboard DCC decoder and SoundTraxx Tsunami2 sound with dual cube speakers for authentic engine, horn, and bell effects on compatible layouts. LED lighting provides realistic illumination, and see-through cab windows reveal a detailed cab interior, with operation on both DC and DCC layouts and NMRA-compatible functions in DCC mode.

Designed for HO-scale model railroading, the FP7 rides on a heavy die-cast frame for traction and includes Blomberg-B trucks with prototype wheel bearings and body-mounted scale knuckle couplers compatible with Kadee. It offers directional lighting, detailed fuel tanks and etched metal fan grilles, plus a full cab interior visible through the cab windows. Suitable for passenger or freight service, it delivers smooth, quiet operation with reliable current pickup on standard HO radii (minimum 18 inches, recommended 22 inches) and supports realistic MU lashups for prototypical train operation.
