Fully assembled and ready to run, this model wears licensed Amtrak colors and is individually numbered, with tinted windows and full end detailing that includes train line hoses and HEP receptacles. Cab cars also offer era-appropriate antenna arrangements to match prototype appearances when paired with other Surfliner cars on a layout.

Under the shell, it’s built for flexible operation: DCC-ready with a Quick Plug 21-pin NEM connector and an on-board DCC decoder, with lighting controllable in DCC. LED interior lights illuminate both levels for daytime or night scenes.
