HO Amtrak Surfliner Coach with Lights and Sound is a ready-to-run HO-scale model of Amtrak’s bi-level Surfliner passenger car. It reproduces the car’s distinctive appearance with licensed Amtrak colors and artwork, tinted window glass, and full end detailing, delivering a lifelike surface on a model railroad. The interior is car-type specific, with unique detailing for each Surfliner variant, including business-class and café configurations.

An on-board DCC decoder by NCE enables operation in both DCC and analog layouts, with LED interior lighting to illuminate both levels. Sound-equipped versions use a Tsunami SoundCar decoder with authentic Surfliner sounds, while cab cars add working headlights and flashing ditch lights for nighttime realism. The model runs on RP25 wheels with McHenry scale knuckle couplers compatible with Kadee, and features all-wheel electrical pickup for reliable power on common HO track.
