HO 33,900-Gallon LPG Tank GATX #2 (3) (ATHG25584)

An HO-scale 33,900-gallon LPG tank car in GATX livery, car number 2, available as single units or in three-pack sets. Designed for realistic model railroading, this tank car adds authentic LPG service scenes to yards and main lines with accurate proportions and crisp detailing.

The model features a highly detailed injection-molded body with separately applied walkways, manways, outlets, ladders, brake rigging, safety rails, and tank saddles. It includes photo-etched walkways and end platforms, wire safety rails and end handrails, and printed placards where appropriate. Underframe detail accommodates either body-mounted brakes or prototype-appropriate truck-mounted brakes, and it rides on 100-ton trucks with animated rotating bearing caps and machined metal wheels with RP25 contours. Couplers are McHenry scale double-shelf, and the assembly is weighted for stable operation. Road numbers are printed, and the model includes coupler lift bars, trainline hoses, brake hoses, and hardware. Minimum radius is 18 inches, with 22 inches recommended for best performance.
