HO 13,600-Gallon Acid Tank Model (ATHG25767)

This HO-scale 13,600-gallon acid tank railcar is a detailed model designed for realistic operation on HO layouts. It reproduces a true-world acid tank car in the UTLX/White scheme and is available with multiple road numbers, including unique options for singles and 3-packs to reflect prototype variety.

Built for authenticity, the model features an injection-molded body with full underframe detail, plus separately applied elements such as etched metal walkways, wire grabs and handrails, and prototype-appropriate end sills. The trucks use machined metal wheels with RP25 profiles for smooth running on popular brands of track, and it rides with body-mounted McHenry scale double-shelf knuckle couplers complemented by coupler lift bars, trainline hoses, and brake hoses. A fully modeled air brake system—including reservoir, control valve, and brake cylinder with plumbing—rounds out the realism, while a minimum 18-inch radius ensures compatibility with a wide range of layouts.
