HO-scale Genesis 2.0 SD90MAC-H Phase I Demonstrator Locomotive in EMD's 75th Anniversary livery is a highly detailed, ready-to-run HO model that captures the distinctive high-horsepower freight locomotive from the late 1990s. This Phase I unit is one of 22 built for Union Pacific, with the EMDX demonstrator scheme worn to celebrate the milestone year.

Designed for HO layouts, this fully assembled model is DCC-ready via a Quick Plug 21-pin NEM interface and rides on a heavy die-cast frame for traction and stability. It features LED lighting, see-through cab windows with a full cab interior, etched walkways, and numerous separately applied details. The drivetrain uses RP25-contoured wheels with all-wheel drive and electrical pickup for smooth, quiet operation, and McHenry scale knuckle couplers that are Kadee-compatible. Sound-equipped versions add DCC+Sound with dual sugar-cube speakers and Tsunami2 sound, plus full DCC functionality; the model operates on both DC and DCC, delivering engine, horn, and bell sounds for a realistic on-layout experience.
