HO Scale BCOL Dash 9-44CW Locomotive (BC Rail 4649) is a highly detailed HO model that reproduces BC Rail’s Dash 9-44CW freight locomotive. It captures Canadian-style anticlimbers, a K5LA horn, and operating rock lights, along with the GE wide cab and teardrop-front windows. Delivered in 2000 as BC Rail’s newest power, these units later appeared in CN service after the 2004 lease, so the model reflects both BC Rail and CN-era operation. Prototype details such as illuminated ground lights above the front trucks, front and rear walkway lights, number boards, and etched see-through walkway steps help give an on-layout, prototype-faithful appearance.
