HO scale GE AC4400CW diesel locomotive in CNW 8816, a ready-to-run model equipped with onboard DCC and Tsunami2 sound. It recreates CNW’s early Lighting Stripe appearance with Operation Lifesaver on the long hood, capturing the power and character of CNW coal-hauling locomotives that worked from the Powder River Basin on modern layouts.

Inside, the Genesis drivetrain drives a 5-pole motor through a heavy die-cast chassis with all-wheel drive and reliable electrical pickup, while fine detail touches—etched walkways, see-through cab windows, a full cab interior, scale handrails, and a detailed fuel tank with gauges—add authenticity. Lighting includes illuminated number boards, front and rear walkway lights, ground lighting, and marker lights where applicable. The onboard DCC decoder powers SoundTraxx Tsunami2 sound across two speakers, with engine, horn, and bell sounds operable in both DC and DCC modes and full DCC functions available in DCC. McHenry scale knuckle couplers (Kadee-compatible) ride with RP25 wheels for smooth operation, and the model includes flexible MU hoses, trainline, and other prototype details.
