This ready-to-run Genesis model faithfully reproduces GE's Dash 9-44CW for heavy freight service, featuring an onboard DCC decoder and Tsunami2 sound with dual speakers for authentic engine, horn, and bell audio. It runs on both DC and DCC layouts, with full DCC functionality for CV adjustments and flexible operation.

Prototype accuracy is evident in Canadian-style anticlimbers and the K5LA horn, with illuminated ground lights above the front trucks, front and rear walkway lights, and number boards. The model also features etched, see-through walkway steps and a fully detailed cab interior. A heavy die-cast frame and Genesis driveline deliver dependable traction, while body-mounted McHenry knuckle couplers, RP25 wheel contours, and LED lighting add to the realism. Fully assembled and ready-to-run, it uses Quick Plug plug-and-play technology with a 21-pin NEM connector for easy decoder upgrades, and it’s designed for HO layouts with minimum 18-inch radius (22-inch is recommended).
