HO AC4400CW Locomotive with DCC and Sound is a detailed HO-scale model designed for realistic operation on model railroad layouts. It reproduces GE’s heavy AC4400CW with an onboard DCC decoder and SoundTraxx Tsunami2 sound, delivering authentic engine noise, horn and bell tones, and smooth performance in both DC and DCC modes.

The QCM edition adds period-correct features such as a long-hood red beacon, medium plow, low-mount number boards, and walkway ditch lights, along with walkways, etched steps, a full cab interior, and GE-style self-steering trucks for added realism. It is DCC-ready with Quick Plug 21-pin interface and illuminated number boards and ground lights, and it uses a heavy die-cast frame with Genesis driveline and all-wheel drive for reliable pulling power. Sound-equipped variants include onboard DCC with Tsunami2 sound and dual speakers, with full DCC functionality and DC operation support; CVs can be adjusted to tailor performance, and a CV chart is included for setting up MU lashups and other configurations. The model also features McHenry scale knuckle couplers, RP25 wheels, and flexible MU hoses for authentic coupling and operation.
