HO U50 Locomotive UP #47 is an HO-scale replica of Union Pacific’s 1960s U50, a bold dual-prime-mover freight locomotive that pairs two 2,500-horsepower engines on a single chassis to deliver about 5,000 horsepower and faster train speeds without adding more units. This model faithfully reproduces UP’s appearance and road-number cues for unit #47, including era-appropriate branding, making it a realistic centerpiece for any HO layout. It is designed to run on standard HO tracks and supports both DC and DCC control.
