HO U50 Locomotive with DCC and Sound, SP 9950 — a detailed HO-scale model of General Electric’s two-engine U50 freight locomotive built for Southern Pacific. Designed to capture the power and presence of a high-horsepower puller on a hobby layout, this ready-to-run model comes with an onboard DCC decoder and SoundTraxx Tsunami2 sound, plus four cube speakers so the engine, horn, and bell are heard in DCC operation (and they function in DC as well). SP styling includes illuminated Big Hole emergency lights, classification lights, working truck lights, number-board lights, MU hoses, and see-through air intake grills to recreate the prototype’s distinctive look.
