HO GP40-2 Locomotive ONT 2202 is a detailed HO-scale replica of Ontario Northland's ex-B&M GP40-2, rebuilt for ONT and painted in a bright ONT scheme. The model faithfully captures prototype details such as front and rear ditch lights, lit number boards with nose lights on this road number, a side-mounted hood bell, the M3 horn on the long hood, and Blomberg M trucks with a large fuel tank. Road-number-specific finish for ONT 2202 adds nose lights for added realism, making it a convincing centerpiece for freight- or passenger-era layouts.

Designed for realistic operation, it features see-through cab windows with a full interior, fine Celcon handrails, etched fan grilles, and accurate fuel-tank detailing.
